Press Desk Activated at the City of Orlando Emergency Operations Center

Effective immediately, ALL press inquiries should be sent directly to the Press Desk at the Emergency Operations Center. Additionally, effective immediately, all press updates and advisories will come from the Press Desk at the Emergency Operations Center.

This desk will be manned every single hour during the City’s EOC activation with the sole responsibility of assisting news media.

Please ensure you add this contact information to your databases to ensure you receive all media updates that are issued.

BE ADVISED:

During EOC activation, if you email or call individual City press contacts (i.e. City Press Secretary, OPD PIOs, OFD PIO), please know that response to your inquiry may be significantly delayed. To ensure you receive information and responses as soon as possible, all press inquiries should be directed to the City’s Press Desk at the EOC by calling or emailing the contact information above.
