Orange Avenue Road Closure + LYNX UPDATE

UPDATE JUNE 21, 2016 – The southbound lanes of Orange Avenue will open for traffic by 1 p.m., today, Tuesday, June 21.

The City is asking media to please locate in the designated media staging area in the vacant lot on the southeast corner of Harding Street and Orange Avenue.  Please do not park in the street or on residential streets.

  • As of midnight tonight all roads will be fully open EXCEPT for Orange Avenue southbound between Kaley Street and Harding Street, and Esther Street between Orange Avenue and Lucerne Terrace (open to residents only).
  • All businesses can open with normal business hours as of tomorrow morning EXCEPT for Dunkin Donuts and Pro Tint. It is anticipated these two businesses will be able to open up sometime tomorrow afternoon when southbound Orange Avenue is opened up between Kaley and Harding.
  • All LYNX service on Orange Avenue will operate regular routing on Tuesday morning. The routes are Links 7, 11, 18 and 40.
